Sagrada Family

A work began in 1882 and is working now, so can be described great church 'Sagrada Family ".







It is located in the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona (nor-east Spain). The original design of the Sagrada Family Church was made by the architect Antonio Gaudi, who worked on him for over 40 years, his last 15 years of its life is dedicated exclusively. 

Initial estimates based on construction techniques of the early 20th century, predicted a period of several hundred years to complete construction. 
Gaudi would have commented about this period: "My client is in no hurry." Currently estimated time is the year 2026 after Gaudi's death in 1926, work continued under the direction of Domènech Sugranyes until 1936 when they were interrupted by the Spanish Civil War. Although it is far from being completed, Sagrada Familia definitely worth a visit. You can visit the crypt where Gaudi is buried. 

A museum is dedicated to the life of this great architect Antoni Gaudi and being church history. The towers can be visited.
A lift can result in one of the towers where it can be admired The entire Barcelona. The climb is not recommended for those afraid of your height or those suffering from claustrophobia.
